1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to operate the Platform and provide you with access to your poker club(s).

a. Information You Provide

  • •Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address (via your chosen authentication provider: Google, Microsoft, or Facebook), and optional profile details (such as display name, Venmo username, and phone number).
  • •Club information: We store information about the clubs you join, membership requests, and approvals.
  • •Communications: If you contact us (e.g., for support), we may store your message and contact details to respond.

b. Information We Collect Automatically

  • •Usage data: We may collect limited technical data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited.
  • •Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain session logins and process payments. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our detailed Cookie Policy above.

c. No Sensitive Data

We do not collect or process any sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, payment information, or location tracking).

2. How We Use Information

We use your information only for the following purposes:

  • •To create and manage your user account
  • •To operate and improve the Platform's functionality
  • •To maintain club membership lists and approvals
  • •To communicate with you about service updates, issues, or requests
  • •To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Payments and Third-Party Services

Poker Night Club uses Stripe for secure payment processing. We do not store or process payment card information directly.

When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment and may set cookies to prevent fraud and enable secure transactions. Stripe's use of your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

For peer-to-peer payments (e.g., via Venmo), those transactions occur entirely outside the Platform and are subject to the respective service's privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain basic user and club data only as long as necessary for operational purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and related data at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your profile settings.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure.

You acknowledge that you use the Platform at your own risk.

6. Children's Privacy

This Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

If you believe a minor has provided personal data, please contact us for deletion.

Privacy, Cookies & Legal Disclaimers

Cookies & Similar Technologies (EU/UK ePrivacy)

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and process payments through Stripe. We do not use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. Non-essential cookies are never set without your prior consent, and you may withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie preferences link below.

European Union & United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Poker Night Club acts as the data controller for account data. We process personal data on the legal bases of contract performance (operating your account and clubs), legitimate interests (security, service integrity), consent (optional communications and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country; where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

United States (CCPA/CPRA & state privacy laws)

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and other state residents may request to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of their personal information, and may appeal a denied request. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights. Because we do not sell or share data, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism or Global Privacy Control opt-out is required.

Other jurisdictions

We aim to meet comparable standards under Canada's PIPEDA, Brazil's LGPD, Australia's Privacy Act, Israel's Privacy Protection Law and similar international frameworks. Wherever you are located, you may exercise your privacy rights by contacting us, and you may delete your account and associated data at any time from your profile settings.

Age restriction

The Platform is intended solely for individuals 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and accounts belonging to minors will be removed.

No gambling services & no legal advice

Poker Night Club is a record-keeping and organization tool for private games. We do not operate games of chance, host wagers, accept bets, hold player funds or process game stakes; all money movement happens directly between players outside the Platform. You are solely responsible for complying with the gambling, tax and other laws that apply where you play. Nothing on this Platform constitutes legal, financial or tax advice.
